Now is The Time to Support Our Bodies!

In case you missed our email, we wanted to share some important information from the U. S. Surgeon General:

“What I want Americans to know is when we look back at past infectious disease outbreaks like this, they weren’t ended with therapeutics or with vaccines. They ended with hand washing, they were ended with social distancing. They were ended with the basic public health and hygiene measures that keep us safe from the flu and the everyday cold and will also keep us safe from coronavirus.”

With the media blasting us with constant updates of the spread of this latest Coronavirus, and lots of local and public places closing, we want you to know that we are OPEN and ready to support you during this time. Now more than ever it is important for you to maintain your chiropractic care. We are doing our due diligence by keeping the office spotless and free of cooties! This is not a time for panic, but to do what we can to support our bodies! In the case that you do not feel you can make it in, please contact Dr. Lisa and she can make arrangements to support you at your home.

Dr. Lisa has ordered the vial from Europe for COVID-19 and it is on its way! This means we will be able to test and help your body clear exposure to this virus from your system if needed. This is huge!

In the office we have also stocked up on lots of immune support supplies including: Breathe drops and roll-on sticks and On Guard drops all from DoTerra. We also have Echinacea, Vitamin A, C and D and probiotics.

Dr. Lisa can muscle test and suggest further supplements to support your immune system and we are able to order those if needed.

Remember dear patients: adjustments encourage your body to communicate to the brain through the nervous system. During times of stress, due to traumas, thoughts and toxins (LIKE NOW!) our bodies  subluxate, (vertabrae out of alignment) which decreases communication in the nervous system, immunity drops and we become more prone to illness. BAM!

In addition to chiropractic care we also suggest:

  • STOP eating junk food! Including: sugar, fast food, processed food, and sugary drinks
  • DO fill your body with healthy alternatives, such as whole foods, fruits, vegetables, etc.
  • Drink lots of water
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds
    Homemade hand sanitizer recipe (if you are out and about)
    -1 c. rubbing alcohol
    -1/2 c. aloe vera gel
    -15 drops tea tree oil
  • Practice mindfulness – stay grounded and centered in your power
  • Light exercise
  • Supplements – Vit. A, C, D, probiotics, echinacea, zinc, elderberry
  • Detox baths twice a week
    – 1/3 c. each of: Baking Soda and Epsom Salt
    – 1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
    – a few drops of Sage or Lavender essential oils

This is a great time to remind all of our patients that taking time for self care will help keep you healthy and keeping regular adjustments is a great self care habit! We are here to support you!
